I have a story to tell:

Our family went out to eat with a group, and the bill came to $585. There were no issues with the food, no issues with the service—we tipped $60 and felt it was fair. Then the waiter made a comment about expecting a double tip… something like $120. Not joking. Not being subtle. Just saying it. When the situation got awkward and someone argued, it suddenly became “just a joke.” But let’s be honest—there was nothing joking in his tone. Honestly, it ruined the whole atmosphere. So now I’m curious—since when was $60 on a $585 bill considered insufficient? Or are we just normalizing unrealistic expectations now? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
