There was so much pink that my brain immediately connected it with Barbie. Bright, playful, unmistakable pink has become so closely associated with that movie that, for a moment, I couldn’t imagine another possibility.
I barely looked at anything else.
That was my mistake.
Once I had decided what I was looking at, everyother detail seemed to support my answer. The colors felt familiar. The overall look seemed right. My brain essentially stopped investigating and started looking for confirmation.
